St. Catharines City Hall
City Hall represents the political and administrative centre of the City of St. Catharines and is a primary showcase for the City’s art collection. Public spaces within City Hall display art work from the City’s collection, the Mayor’s Gallery of photos, cultural property relating to official state visits, the Gallery of City Councils Past and Present, and more. They are all on display for the enjoyment of the general public.
An exhibit space on the second floor of City Hall showcases original art, historic photos and cultural treasures that reflect St. Catharines’ stories, creative self-expression, experiences and perspectives. Each year, three to four new exhibits are displayed on a rotating basis. These exhibits are co-ordinated by the City’s Cultural Services office with support from the Public Art Advisory Committee.
