Niagara Falls Art Gallery

Founded in 1979, the Niagara Falls Art Gallery houses the William Kurelek Art Collection, the artist’s personal papers and library. Also part of the Gallery’s permanent collection is the John Burtniak Niagara Collection of historical Niagara Falls artwork from the 1700’s to the 1950’s.

The Niagara Falls Art Gallery is involved in community arts development throughout the Niagara Region with its Arts Based Integrated Learning programs and exhibitions that serve over 107,000 participants.  To further support community arts development the Gallery opened the art based Niagara Children’s Museum (1999), the Niagara Children’s Art Gallery (2003), the Niagara Youth Gallery (2005), the Niagara Community Gallery (2005) and the Art Gallery of Welland (2006).
