Guest Lecture with Dr. Karine Duhamel | Brock University History

Guest lecture sponsored and held by Brock University with Dr. Karine Duhamel ” ‘I am here for justice and I am here for change’ - Inside the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.”

Dr. Karine Duhamel is Anishinaabe-Metis with a PhD from the University of Manitoba.  She has focused on research related to Indigenous rights movements in Canada and in the United States, the history and legacy of Indian Residential schools, and the spirit and intent of treaty relationships.  Most recently, Dr. Duhamel was Director of Research for the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
